. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . why VukahGogo ?

Gogo is the isiZulu /Ndebele term for Grandmother,
i have always said that any child who has had the joys
of being cared by their grandparents is doubly blessed.

Gogo is also the wise one,
the one who keeps her fingers on the pulse
with adept skills of handling all age groups on par
with sensitivity and diplomacy par excellance

Gogo is the matriarch, who allows the warriors free rein
yet under certain situations
guess who has the final say
without being obvious to the wider group of people
affected by the decision.

the fact that Gogo usually outlives the [visible] Patriarch
confirming where the power is.

Vukah wake up, get off your butts
is part of the Trek and Druk

Trek
a long [hard] journey, a hike, to pull; this is an afrikaans word
that is now used globally
Druk to push, press, print and so many connotations,
including to encourage.

a time and a place
why rush, slowly slowly, alles sal reg kom;
anywhere, anytime,
the closer to Mother Earth, the better
coexist, cooperate,

but me is simply me
one tussen die boom en die bars
insignificant, yet caring, empathetic with
those who struggle more to have achieved;
but in retrospect, with the few handfuls
years left, will me be able to do just enough
enough to be able to say a lil bit of Vukah
did leave some imprints for posterity

so what are you waiting for ? ? ?
me of course
